This project is nestled on Seawall Point in Southwest Harbor, Maine. Energy efficiency was a major consideration in the design of this house. With double studded walls, spray foam insulation, triple pane windows, and the use of Geo-thermal heating and cooling, the efficiency of this house is incredible. The design was based on a neighboring family house that has been on Seawall Point for generations. Many of the design details resemble those of the existing cottage. This house is full of custom crafted built-ins. Quality craftsmanship is evident throughout the residence. Floors are constructed from Heart Pine timbers from a former local textile mill.
